How to lose weight by massaging acupoints

In traditional Chinese medicine shiatsu, the doctor presses hard on several acupoints on your body to help relieve the condition. By stimulating acupuncture points that relieve pressure on the digestive system, weight loss can be promoted. Read on to see how you can promote weight loss and achieve fitness goals by massaging acupuncture points and combining healthy eating with exercise.

First, press acupoints located in the ear. Place your thumbs directly on the triangular flaps in front of each ear. Thumb pressure is used because it covers most of the area and stimulates all three acupuncture points at once.

1. Another method is to place your finger under your chin and then open and shut your mouth. Find out which acupuncture points move the most when you open and close your mouth.

2. Keep pressing for 3 minutes with moderate pressure to control appetite and hunger and promote digestion.

3. If you only want to massage one acupoint, massage the ear points. Only this part of the body has three or more acupoints that control hunger and appetite.

4. Listening Gong Point (, Ermen point and Listening Hui point are located near the ear, which are the most studied acupuncture points in weight loss.

Press on other areas that will help you lose weight. There are also many acupuncture points on your body that can help you achieve your weight loss goals.

1 ditch acupoints in the straight groove between the upper lip and nose (middle). Apply moderate pressure twice a day for 5 minutes to control appetite and hunger.

2. Qi Hai Hole is just 3cm below the navel. Massage your index and middle fingers up and down for 2 minutes, twice a day, to improve digestion.

3. Zusanli is located 5 cm below the kneecap, slightly off-center, anterolateral to the calf. Press with your index finger for 1 minute. As long as you feel the muscles under your fingers moving when you bend your feet, it means you have found the right acupoint. Just 2 minutes a day can promote a healthy stomach.

4. Quchi Point is located at the inside of the elbow fold, close to the outside of the elbow. Massaging it removes moisture and heat from the body and improves intestinal function. Massage Quchi acupoint with thumb for 1 minutes every day.

5. The sanyin acupoint is 5 centimeters above the ankle, on the inside of the calf and the back of the bone. Press with your thumb for 1 minute each day and then release it slowly to help balance fluids in your body.

6. The abdominal mourning point is located under the bottom rib, and is in a straight line with the earlobes on both sides. Pressing the abdominal ai points on both sides for 5 minutes every day can help relieve indigestion.

If pressing one point makes you uncomfortable or doesn't give you the results you want, you can press other points. Each time you press an acupoint, pay attention to how you feel and how your body reacts. Everyone reacts differently. Don't press it too long.

1. You can press these points until you reach your ideal weight. You can then continue to press these points to help maintain your weight.

2. As far as we know, this type of shiatsu massage does not have negative effects.

Follow an anti-inflammatory diet. Some foods can help you lose weight. Generally, they are called "anti-inflammatory" foods because being overweight is an inflammatory disease. Try to switch to organic foods. They don't have pesticides or other chemicals, like hormones and antibiotics. These substances increase the risk of inflammation.

1. Eat less processed and pre-packaged foods. Some people are allergic to additives and preservatives, which can increase inflammation, so you need to cut back on these too.

2. It may take some practice and planning, but as long as you try to choose whole, unprocessed foods (so you retain most of your vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients) and cook from scratch, the healthier you'll be.

3. How can you tell processed from unprocessed foods? As a rule of thumb, foods that are too white are processed, such as white bread, white rice and white pasta. Choose whole grain breads, brown rice, and whole grain noodles.

Eat more fruits and vegetables. About two-thirds of all the food you eat each day must consist of fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Fruits and vegetables are loaded with antioxidants, which reduce inflammation.

1. Brightly colored fruits and vegetables have the most antioxidants. This includes berries (blueberries, raspberries), apples, plums, orange and citrus fruits (vitamin C is a good antioxidant), green leafy vegetables, butternut squash, zucchini (zucchini) and bell peppers.

2. Fresh fruits and vegetables are best, but frozen fruits and vegetables are fine.

3. When eating vegetables, do not dip in any cream sauce, so as not to absorb excess fat.

Don't eat fruit dipped in sugar or with lots of syrups (added sugar).

Increase your fiber intake. Fiber reduces inflammation and you should get at least 20 to 35 grams of fiber a day. Foods high in fiber include:

Whole grains, like brown rice, bouguer, buckwheat, oats, whole grains, quinoa.

2. Fruits, especially those that can be eaten with their skins on, such as apples, pears, figs, dates, grapes and all kinds of berries.

3. Vegetables, especially green leafy vegetables (spinach, mustard greens, mustard greens, Swiss chard, kale), carrots, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, and beets.

4. String beans and legumes, including peas, lentils, all string beans (kidney beans, black beans, white beans, cotton beans).

5. Seeds (including pumpkin, sesame, sunflower seeds), nuts (almonds, pecans, walnuts, pistachios, etc.).

Eat less red meat. Try to limit your overall meat intake. Want some beef? Opt for lean beef, preferably from pure grass, because they have a natural omega-3 to omega-6 fatty acid ratio. If you're going to eat poultry, always peel it first and make sure it hasn't been injected with hormones or antibiotics (same goes for red meat).

Reduce trans and saturated fats. The American Heart Association recommends avoiding trans fats entirely and reducing saturated fat intake to less than 7% of your total daily calories for the sake of your overall health. When cooking, it's easy to avoid saturated fat as long as you don't use butter, margarine and shortening.

Switch to olive oil or canola oil.

2. No matter what kind of meat it is, cut off the fat first.

3. Don't buy foods that say "partially hydrogenated fats" on the label. Even if the label says it's trans fat-free, there may still be trans fats.

Eat more fish. Fish provides good protein and is rich in healthier omega-3 fatty acids. Increase your intake of omega-3 fatty acids, which can help reduce inflammation. Fish high in omega-3 fatty acids include salmon, tuna, trout, sardines and mackerel.

Eat only complex carbohydrates. By avoiding processed foods, you can make sure you only eat complex carbohydrates. During food processing, carbohydrates are broken down into single carbohydrates. Too many single carbohydrates can increase inflammation.

Start exercising regularly. Only eating healthy, eating less and exercising can really help you lose weight and keep it off. But exercise doesn't have to be difficult. Take it slow at first and let yourself walk more. Park farther away. Take the stairs instead of the elevator or escalator. Walk the dog or take a walk. If you want, you can join a health club and get a trainer to help you.

1. You can lift weights, do cardio, use the elliptical machine, do whatever you like and stick to it.

2. Always consult your doctor about what you should and shouldn't be doing. Push your body a little, but not too hard.

3. Find an activity that you enjoy and can easily fit into your lifestyle. Don't overdo it. If the exercise is too intense, you may not be able to keep it up.

Use a pedometer to track and monitor how many steps you take during the day. Slowly increase the number of steps and increase your activity.

Get 75 to 300 minutes of moderate aerobic activity per week. Aerobic activity counts as anything that increases oxygen intake and heart rate. This includes running, swimming, hiking, walking, jogging, dancing, martial arts and biking.

You can use exercise bikes, elliptical machines and other equipment indoors, or do cardio in an outdoor park or residential area.

Understand the basic principles of traditional Chinese medicine. Shiatsu and acupuncture use various acupoints above the 12 meridians to tone the body. These meridians are the channels that run qi and blood, which are regarded as life energy in Traditional Chinese medicine. The basic principle of Chinese medicine is that we get sick because qi and blood are blocked. The needles used in acupuncture and the force used in shiatsu massage unblock meridians and allow qi and blood to flow smoothly again.

Learn how shiatsu can promote weight loss. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is believed to help reduce weight by removing moisture and heat from the body and stimulating the digestive organs

1. "humidity" and "heat" are abstract concepts. In other words, pressing these points does not significantly change body temperature or see moisture draining from the skin. They refer to the imbalance of life energy (qi and blood).

2. Some studies show that ear massage is especially effective for weight loss.

3. Studies have shown that other related techniques (such as Tapas acupressure) have some benefits for weight maintenance, but not for weight loss.

Know how to press acupoints. Unless it is the point in the middle of the body, the massage time on both sides must be the same. Usually use light to medium force, find the force that you feel comfortable with. Never press too hard.

1 massage strength can be divided into light, medium and heavy three. Light refers to the finger will slightly downward pressure on the skin, the skin around the acupoint will move slightly. You won't feel a pulse or bones, but you will feel the muscles under your skin moving. Moderate pressure pushes the skin lower, and in areas where the skin is thinner (like around the ears), you can feel bones and joints and muscles moving. You will also feel your pulse as you massage the knee, elbow and ankle points with moderate force.

2. You can massage acupuncture points anytime, anywhere, at work, at school, at home, during or after a shower. It's best to massage in a peaceful environment, but if not, that's fine.
